The Zythos Bier Festival
The Zythos Bier Festival or ZBF is Belgians biggest beer festival and a must for any beer lover.
100 breweries with more then 300 different beers collect every year in one place for this 
special beer festival, in exchange for a coupon you will receive a taste of what Belgium has to offer.
Don’t however expect that you will get a pint glass per stand to try out for your coupon, the taste glasses are 15cl big, this is due to the different culture of drinking in Belgium, and being drunk is not that easily tolerated. Belgians enjoy drinking but hardly ever get drunk, you should give Belgian beer the respect it deserves by sipping it.
In 2012 the beer festival will travel to Leuven and will open its doors the 28th and 29th of April.
Location? Brabanthal in Leuven (Belgium)
When? Saturday 28 April 2012 from 12:00 until 00:00
Sunday 29 April 2012 from 11:00 until 21:00
Entrance is free, but you will be asked to pay €3 as a warranty for your special taster glass that you will receive at the entrance. (You will get this money back if you exchange the glass back)
1 coupon costs €1.20 and will buy you 1 beer whatever its strength or uniqueness.
